Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 21, 2026. Last updated: August 2026.

1. Zero Server Upload Architecture

Your privacy is the foundational architecture of PDFtoImage. When you select, drag, or drop a PDF file into our tools, your file is NEVER transmitted across the internet to any external server or cloud database.

All file parsing, vector interpretation, and image rasterization (JPG, PNG, WebP) are executed entirely inside your device's browser memory via Mozilla's PDF.js library and the HTML5 Canvas API.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

  • We do NOT collect, store, copy, or view the contents of your uploaded PDF documents or generated images.
  • We do NOT require account registration, passwords, usernames, or credit card details.
  • We do NOT log document filenames, metadata, page contents, or extracted images.

3. Local Browser Storage

Our application uses standard browser localStorage solely to remember your UI preference (such as your chosen light or dark theme setting). No personal or document-related data is ever written to persistent storage.

4. Third-Party CDN Delivery

Static JavaScript assets (such as Mozilla's official PDF.js and JSZip libraries) are securely delivered over HTTPS from reputable content delivery networks (Cloudflare CDN / cdnjs). These CDNs only receive standard HTTP request headers necessary to serve static script files.

5. Compliance with Global Privacy Regulations (GDPR & CCPA)

Because our website operates under a zero-knowledge, client-side model where no personal data or document content is processed on remote servers, your usage naturally complies with the highest standards of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

6. Contact Regarding Privacy

If you have any questions regarding our architectural security or privacy standards, please reach out via our Contact Page or via email at privacy@pdftoimage.pages.dev.
